Jennie represents clients in the pharmaceutical, medical-device, and consumer-electronics fields, focusing on patent litigation. As a registered patent attorney, she draws on her experience with United States Patent Office proceedings to inform litigation strategy and to counsel clients working in crowded patent fields. Jennie’s experience spans the stages of litigation, including managing discovery efforts, working with technical experts to prepare reports, taking and defending depositions, and preparing witnesses for trial. Jennie has led briefing on successful dispositive motions and argued at Markman and Daubert hearings in federal district court. She also has served as amicus curiae counsel in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
In her pro bono practice, Jennie leverages her scientific background to help her clients, including in a Death Row case involving forensic science and DNA-related issues.
Prior to joining Goldman Ismail, Jennie practiced with another leading national law firm and completed a federal district court clerkship. Jennie earned her B.S. in biochemistry summa cum laude from Creighton University and her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
