Oren represents clients in complex civil litigation and arbitration. He has a particular interest in cutting-edge procedure, and he draws on his experience clerking on the Seventh Circuit and the Northern District of Illinois while drafting briefs on behalf of clients. Successes on motions for which Oren was the principal drafter include a choice-of-law motion in a confidential arbitration that was granted, causing the claimant to dismiss his demand in full, and a procedural motion in a confidential mass arbitration that persuaded the arbitral body to rescind a multimillion-dollar invoice issued to his client.

Oren graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he served as deputy editor-in-chief for the Northwestern University Law Review. Before law school, Oren was a professional contract bridge player, teacher, and writer.
