Thomas litigates complex cases in federal, state, and arbitral forums across the United States. He has represented clients in various industries, from pharmaceuticals to financial services, in disputes involving intellectual property, commercial contracts, government enforcement, and tort and antitrust liability.

Thomas has a strong track record of writing winning motions and briefs, successfully arguing discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, working with expert witnesses, and advancing case strategy and day-to-day management.

Before joining Goldman Ismail, Thomas practiced at a national firm and clerked for Judge Thomas L. Kirsch II of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and for Judge James Patrick Hanlon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He graduated from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology. Prior to law school, Thomas earned his B.S. in Economic Consulting and Public Policy Analysis, with honors and highest distinction, from Indiana University. He also taught middle school mathematics in Hawaiʻi through Teach for America.
