Xavi litigates complex cases involving a range of scientific and technical issues. She has handled patent-infringement, copyright, and commercial matters in jurisdictions throughout the United States. Those matters have involved a variety of technologies, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, consumer electronics, and mechanical systems.
Xavi’s experience extends across all stages of litigation, including managing discovery, working with experts to prepare reports, taking and defending depositions, and preparing witnesses for trial. Xavi has led briefing on successful dispositive motions and motions for fees. She has also argued at Markman and Daubert hearings in federal district court.
Prior to joining Goldman Ismail, Xavi practiced with another leading national law firm. Xavi earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering magna cum laude from the University of Arizona and her J.D. cum laude from Northwestern Law.
